About britbell Ltd

Bringing Olympic Bobsled Excitement to Life

We're dedicated to creating unforgettable visitor experiences on one of Europe's most thrilling ice tracks.

Our Journey

From Competition to Community

Britbell Ltd started in 2022 with a simple vision: make bobsled accessible. We're not just about managing a track — we're about sharing the adrenaline, the precision, and the raw excitement that athletes experience.

We've watched many visitors discover something special on the ice. Kids who thought they'd be terrified end up grinning ear to ear. Families find something genuinely thrilling to do together. Athletes gain new perspective on the sport.

What sets us apart? We don't treat visitor rides as an afterthought. It's the core of what we do. Every session is run by people who actually understand bobsled — the technique, the physics, the cultural significance. We're not just sliding people down a hill; we're introducing them to a sport that's been around since the 1880s.

What We Offer

Your Visitor Ride Experience

Professional Vuchko Sleds

We use authentic Vuchko sleds — the same design trusted by competitive teams. You're not on some tourist toy; you're in real equipment built for serious sliding.

Experienced Team

Our crew knows bobsled inside and out. They'll brief you on technique, talk you through the physics, and make sure you feel confident before that first push.

The britbell Track

You're sliding on the actual Olympic track used by national teams. Sixteen curves, 1,420 meters of ice, and views across the Latvian countryside.

Summer Sessions

We run rides during summer months when the track is prepared for visitor experiences. It's different from winter racing — warmer, more accessible, equally thrilling.

How We Work

Your Journey on the Ice

We've refined our process over years of running visitor sessions. Here's what you can expect when you come to us.

1

Safety Brief & Gear

You'll get a comprehensive safety briefing covering what to expect, how to position yourself, and what happens during acceleration. We'll fit you with proper gear — helmet, suit, gloves. No shortcuts on safety.

2

Team Introduction

Meet your crew for the session. You'll have a push athlete, a braker, and coaching staff. They'll explain their roles and answer any questions. You're not a passenger — you're part of the team.

3

The Push & Run

Feel the acceleration as the team pushes. You'll experience forces that competitive bobsledders know well. The ice flies past. Your heart races. It's real, it's intense, and it's unforgettable.

4

Debrief & Reflection

Back on solid ground, we'll talk through what happened. The physics of the curves. How the team coordinated. Your own experience. That's where real understanding happens.
